Go to Start - Programs - Accessories - Communications - Remote Desktop Connection, and you should get the following window;

Type the IP address shown (with the dots and no spaces) and click Connect. You then log into the school network as you would do in school

If you cannot see Remote Desktop Connection on the Start menu, instead go to Start - Run... and type the following;

mstsc

and then click OK

Note - you cannot transfer files from your computer at home (for example, on the C drive) to anywhere on the school network, be it your home directory or the shared drive. It is impossible.

You can still bring your work in on CD or a USB flash drive, however...
