As a school we raise money for a number of charities and causes.  Each year group has a chosen charity that they support throughout the year: 

• Year 7 - Zoe's Place Baby Hospice
• Year 8 - MacMillan Cancer Support
• Year 9 - Teenage Cancer Trust
• Year 10 - The Owen McVeigh Foundation
• Year 11 - Claire House

We also pledge our support to the following organisations and appeals on an annual basis:

• CAFOD
• Christmas Food Hamper Appeal
• Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal
• Nugent
• Alder Hey Children’s Hospital
• St Vincent’s School for the Blind and Visually Impaired

In recent years our students have raised funds through non-uniform days, sports challenges, sponsored silences and cake sales, whilst staff have taken part in a range of challenges for charity including the Liverpool Half Marathon and the annual Santa Dash.  This work has supported other charities such as the British Heart Foundation and the Alzheimer's Society.
