The school underwent the assessment to renew the Investors in People Quality Mark in July and successfully passed.  Heather Beattie, the assessor from IIP, wrote the following about the school:

I am delighted to confirm that Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School has achieved the Investors in People standard. Achieving the Developed level of the framework acknowledges the organisation’s good practice in the approach to the people management principles and practices that are in place within the organisation and that people and leaders know what is expected of them.

There is clear evidence of how the investment in people has yielded outcomes relating to the performance of Cardinal Heenan. Examples of key results included community engagements, progress of students, improved outcomes for students and families, and pupil premium monitoring visit.
