Year 9 Run for Charity

Year 9 Students Celebrating the End of Their Sponsored Run for Teenage Cancer Trust
Over 200 students took part in a sponsored run to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust and have so far raised over £400 with a lot more money still to be collected. Emma Cross from the charity came to speak to the students at the start of their race and to support them and the PE staff as they raced around the school field. Poignantly, Alder Hey hospital could be seen as they ran, a reminder of a place that has a Teenage Cancer Trust ward and the amazing and vital work that is done there. Congratulations to all who took part and thank you to all who sponsored them.
