Celebrating GCSE Success!

Students with Headteacher Ms Karen Smyth
On Thursday 23rd August 2018 the school opened the doors to many extremely successful young men who have worked hard throughout their time at Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School and gained impressive results.
There were many excellent outcomes with Robert McNally being the highest achieving pupil in terms of average grade. As it stands our Progress 8 figure has improved and is provisionally -0.24 (up from -0.54 last year). With regards the percentage of boys achieving a grade 4 or above in both English and Maths, we are the best performing non-selective school in the city. Similarly, we are the best performing non-selective school with respect to the percentage of boys with an average grade 4+ and grade 5+.
We are proud of all our students and staff, and these results would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of all.
