Last Friday we attended the prestigious Educate Awards at the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, in what was a fantastic celebration of education. The Educate Awards, founded by Kim O’Brien in 2012, are the largest education awards in the North West. Schools, colleges, teachers and support staff across Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Cumbria all come together to celebrate their achievements.

We are extremely proud to have been awarded second place in the ‘Most Inspirational Secondary School’ category, where we competed against schools from across the North West – making us the most inspirational school in Liverpool!

We’d like to say a big thank you to all of our staff, pupils and everyone in our Cardinal Heenan community for making Cardinal Heenan such a special place. We’re so proud to be a “feel-good school” where pupils and staff belong, thrive and achieve!
