Why Study Business Studies at Key Stage 4?

Course Content
Theme 1: Investigating a small business
  • Written examination: 1 hour and 30 minutes (90 marks), 50% of the qualification • Enterprise and entrepreneurship, Spotting a business opportunity, Putting a business idea into practice, Making the business effective, Understanding external influences on business
Theme 2: Building a business
  • Written examination: 1 hour and 30 minutes (90 marks), 50% of the qualification
  • Growing the business, making marketing decisions, making operational decisions, making financial decisions, making human resource decisions
Examination 40% | Controlled Assessment 60%
