A Level Success!

Students were delighted with their achievements

Thursday 15th August 2019 saw many happy faces and celebrations at school as students collected their A level results.

Highlights include Matthew Rabbette achieving A*, A, B, allowing him to go to Liverpool University, and Lewis Trapasso achieving A, A, A, Lewis will also be attending Liverpool University both pupils will be studying Medicine.  We are also revelling in the great news that James Wilson successfully achieved excellent results in Year 14 (A, A, B); he too is going to Liverpool to study Chemistry with Pharmacology.  Compared to the rest of the 27 sixth form colleges in the city, we had the fourth highest percentage of entries at A*-E, the 12th highest percentage of grades A*-C, and the 10th highest average overall grade (improving from a C- last year to a C this year).  We are proud of all our students and staff for the results achieved by all and we wish those heading to either university, apprenticeships or the workplace much luck for the future.  We look forward to hearing how you are all getting on.
