Liverpool University Host the Launch of the Brilliant Club Which Involves 12 of Our Year 10 Pupils

This week, twelve Year 10 pupils attended the launch of The Scholars Programme, which is run by the Brilliant Club. These pupils have been identified as having the potential to make a successful application to one of the most selective universities. Although university may not be for everyone, The Scholars Programme aims to give children an experience of university learning to help them make an informed decision. They achieve this by mobilising the PhD community to share its academic expertise with state schools. The pupils will now embark on a series of tutorials with a PhD student looking into the world of Cyber Security. To graduate they will be required to complete a 2000 word essay working at KS5 level.  Congratulations to all involved!
