Latest Ofsted Report Praises School

Report published on recent Ofsted inspection of remote learning

In a recent Ofsted inspection of the remote monitoring offered by the school during lockdown, Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School has been praised for its “effective action to provide education in the current circumstances” and for ensuring that “pupils follow their usual curriculum either on site or remotely, despite the impact of the COVID-19 restrictions.”

The report goes on to say that “Staff feel well supported with the training they receive on remote education. Parents and carers are very positive about the communication that they receive from staff during these challenging times. (The Headteacher) and the staff have worked together to ensure that education is available to all pupils.”
