How is the Course Assessed?
Assessment is specifically designed to fit the purpose and objective of the qualification. It includes a range of assessment types and styles suited to vocational qualifications in the sport sector.
There are three main forms of assessment that you need to be aware of:
1) Assignments internally set
2) Tasks that are externally assessed
3) Written exams that are externally assessed
Progression Routes:
Degrees in sport science, physical education and coaching science. BTEC Sport also supports progression into direct entry levels such as physical activity leader or fitness/ leisure attendant.
