Our Curriculum Rationale

We are a Liverpool Catholic comprehensive school that serves our local community. Our Christian values and ethos, exemplified in “Respect, Believe, Achieve”, underpin all that we do. Fundamental to this is the curriculum that we offer to our pupils. We define curriculum as the total learning experience offered by the school to the pupils in their journey through it.  Our intent is to prepare them for the opportunities, challenges, experiences and responsibilities of adulthood.

We have recently reimagined, reinvigorated and relaunched our curriculum.  Its emphasis is unashamedly on high achievement and designed to ensure that it is accessible to every pupil in our community and will allow them to reach their full potential. It will develop:

• Confident individuals who will go on to lead fulfilling lives
• Young adults who will contribute to their community
