IT Technician

Salary Range: Pass Scale 5 (SCP 9-14) £19,326 - £21,339
Contract: Annualised hours (1482 hours per year). 35 hours per week during term time, remaining hours to be worked by agreement during school holiday periods / school events

Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School is a highly successful school that is committed to providing the best possible outcomes for all our students. 

The Governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced and highly motivated IT Technician to assist in the effective operation and security of the school’s ICT network and infrastructure.  The successful candidate will support all aspects of ICT technical support across the school.

Teacher of Physics

Salary: MPS/UPS

We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Physics who will teach our A-level and GCSE Physics courses.  We require someone who is a hard-working and committed person with drive, enthusiasm and inspiration to join a strong and supportive department. You should have a good understanding of the requirements for GCSE and A-Level Physics. You will also contribute to engaging the local community as part of our well attended STEM events and have the benefit of working with a team who have diverse experience and external links with local universities.

Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School is a thriving and vibrant Specialist Sports College and a leading school in the local area. Our school has achieved outstanding and rapidly improving GCSE and A-level science results in recent years. We are proud that an ever increasing proportion (currently 40%) of our sixth form college study the sciences and are looking to expand our curriculum offer.

We are also immensely proud of the increasing number of our students that go on to study sciences at Russell Group universities and we also have a proven track record of students going to study the likes of medicine and engineering including many at Oxbridge universities in recent years.
