Senior Assistant Headteacher (Pastoral)

Inspectors said that “Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School is a learning community where pupils have great respect for each other. Teachers support pupils to become highly articulate young people who can express their views well on a wide range of issues.” They also commented that “Pupils benefit from studying a wide range of subjects. Leaders have put in place an ambitious curriculum. Leaders and teachers have high expectations of all pupils.”.

We wish to appoint a Senior Assistant Headteacher responsible for pastoral care who will lead a year team system.  We are seeking a strong communicator, with natural empathy, who works positively with other professionals and derives satisfaction from supporting children and young people.

Salary: Pass Scale 6, SCP 15-20, £20,958 - £23,140

Hours of work: Term time, 35 hours per week (8.30am - 4.00pm), plus 5 Inset days

Chef / Catering Manager 

Salary: Pass Scale 8/9, SCP 26-33 (£30,984-£37,568) depending on experience.

Hours of work: Annualised hours (1560 hours per year).  35 hours per week during term time plus 5 Inset days. Remaining hours to be worked by agreement during school holiday periods and events outside of school hours.
